Adding a Mainline to a Program (BaseStation 3200)

NOTE: In the flow model associated with the BaseStation 3200 V16 firmware, you do not add a mainline to a program. Instead you assign zones to a mainline, and then you put those zones in a program. If you are using BaseManager with a BaseStation 3200 V16 controller, see the updated help.

The BaseStation 3200 supports 99 programs and 8 mainlines. By default, the mainlines are numbered in the controller from 1 - 8 regardless of whether your system has more than one. All programs are automatically assigned to mainline #1, but you can change the settings to match your irrigation system.

  1. Make sure that the controller on which you want to add a mainline to a program is displayed in the BaseManager footer. To select a different controller, click the Menu icon in the upper-left corner of the BaseManager page, and then click Sites and Controllers. Continue drilling down until you can select the desired controller.
  2. Click the Programs tab.
  3. Perform one of the following:
    • To add a mainline in a new program, click Add Program.
    • To add a mainline in an existing program, click in the program row. After the program details display, click the Edit button in the BaseManager footer.

Note: Make sure that you already have one or more mainlines assigned in the controller (refer to Assigning Mainlines (BaseStation 3200)).

  1. On the Program Settings page, scroll down to the Mainline section.
  2. Click the drop-down arrow in the Mainline field, and select the number of the mainline that you want to add to the program.

IMPORTANT! When you have finished making changes to the program settings, click the Save button in the footer of the BaseManager page.
