Scheduled BaseManager Update
Posted by Leanne Lloyd-Fairey on 10 March 2016 12:18 PM

Please be advised that on March 11, 2016, between 6 PM and 9 PM MST, BaseManager may be unavailable for a short period of time. We will be pushing an update to BaseManager. During that time, you may be unable to log into BaseManager and your controller(s) may be disconnected. After the update is complete, controllers will reconnect on their own. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Please don't hesitate to call Baseline Support at 1 (866) 294-5847 if you have any questions.

This BaseManager update includes UI improvements to the following areas:

Programs Tab

  • Added the zone tracking ratio as a percentage for the 3200 controller
  • Moved the options for linking soil moisture sensors to primary zones to the main programming page. This makes it easier to link the sensor to the zone, and it also shows the linked sensors on the main page in view mode.
  • Added a feature to calculate zone cycle and soak times based on user-configured zone properties

Quick View & Maps Tabs

  • Enhanced the pop-up box options for zones, programs, and master valves:
    • Test zones, learn flow for a zone, set a zone to done
    • Learn flow for a program and set a program to done
    • Test and manually run master valves

WeatherAccess™ – Weather-Based Watering Functionality for BaseManager Plus

  • BaseStation 3200 controllers operating with 12.26 firmware and BaseStation 1000 controllers operating with 1.15 firmware can now use weather-based data for managing irrigation.
  • Each zone has configurable fields to specify the properties of the zone.
  • For the BaseStation 3200 controller - zones can be configured to use weather-based runtimes.
  • For the BaseStation 1000 controller - programs can be configured to have all zones in a program use weather-based runtimes.
  • You can select any qualifying weather station from Weather Underground as the source of the weather data for a controller.
  • Refer to the Working with Weather-Based Watering topics in the BaseManager online help. You can also download the the WeatherAccess User Manual from the Baseline website.
